Warranty

 

SIGN OÜ does not perform warranty repairs of equipment. Warranty repairs are performed by the authorized maintenance representatives. If there is no authorized warranty representative, warranty repairs will be carried out by the importer through SIGN OÜ or directly though the manufacturer.

The basis for warranty repairs is the invoice/consignment note issued by SIGN OÜ and a defective product with intact serial number. If the serial number of the product is damaged or illegible, SIGN OÜ shall have the right to refuse to provide free warranty repairs.

 

WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty period shall enter into force from the moment of delivery indicated on the invoice/consignment note.

The warranty maintenances carried out during the warranty period shall not extend the warranty period.

A 2-year term for submission of pretensions provided for in section 218(2) of the Law of Obligations Act shall be applicable for individuals.

The warranty period is established for the clients that are legal entities by the manufacturer of the product.

 

WARRANTY REPAIRS

The warranty repairs are carried out at the maintenance representation of the manufacturer. If there is no authorized warranty representative, warranty repairs will be carried out by the importer through SIGN OÜ or directly though the manufacturer.

The client has to deliver the goods to be repaired to the authorized service centre or in the absence thereof, to the office of SIGN OÜ. Detailed information can be obtained by telephone 6056000 or e-mail address sign@sign.ee

If repairing the product during the warranty period is impossible and its manufacturing has ceased, the manufacturer or importer shall replace the product within the framework of warranty with a similar or better product.

 

THE FOLLOWING IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:

Parts that wear (batteries, cassettes, printer heads, diskettes, CDs, mouse pads etc) and packaging and documents.

User data that have been destroyed upon damaging of the product or as a result of warranty repairs. Making back-up copies of the data is the obligation of the client.

Software, including software previously installed in the device and exploitation disturbances caused by software.

Exploitation disturbances and physical damages, which are caused as a result of accidental or intentional physical damaging or objects, liquids, bugs, excess dust etc. in the device.

Exploitation disturbances and physical damages, which are caused by non-functional electrical systems (absence of earth continuity conductor etc), blackouts or fluctuations in power supply voltage.

Exploitation disturbances and physical damages, which are caused by using parts that are not original parts or unsuitable accessories.

Exploitation disturbances, which are caused by misuse of the devices and ignoring the requirements of the instructions for use (using the product in conditions that differ from the usual).
